Hockney is honored as one of the few non-French citizens to be awarded the rank of Officier in France’s prestigious Légion d’Honneur in the new year’s listings, granted through exceptional merit and in recognition of his profound contributions to the country through his work.

London’s Serpentine North Gallery exhibits Hockney’s most recent paintings alongside his panoramic iPad frieze, A Year in Normandie, linking Hockney’s profound observations of seasonal change in Normandy with his current studio work in London.

The ‘Moon Room’, which first debuted at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen (2024) and subsequently displayed as part of the survey exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton (2025), is now presented as a solo show, The Moon Room, at Galerie Lelong in France from March to May, followed by Pace in New York from May to August.
